The Wheelspin is the original wheelchair accessible roundabout with ground level access. Designed to enable families to play together.

The Wheelspins wheelchair accessible design provides enough room for the whole family! With space for two regular wheelchairs or one larger, power assisted chair, the open, barrier free design enables children to play in groups. A wide, ground level entrance ensures wheelchair users can access and exit with ease. Seating with back support provides room for a parent, carer or those who need more postural support. The textured platform is slip resistant and, as a result, aids visually impaired users in detecting a change of surface. Easy to grasp bars provide stability when turning and grip when spinning. To sum up, The Wheelspin is one of the most inclusive roundabouts on the market. The open and supportive design encourages social and family play for all abilities.

Steel

Steel products are hot dip galvanized and, where applicable, powder coated. The galvanizing process we use is continuous. This means the dipping and powder coating is completed within the same building. Because there is no transportation used in-between processes, the result is an extra durable finish that is impervious to rust.

Fixings

The fixings we use are Stainless Steel 304 grade or galvanized as standard. There may be a need to upgrade to Stainless Steel 316 for a small additional charge, depending on the installation location.

HDPE

The panels on this product are made from High Density Polyethene sheets. HDPE is 100% recyclable and non-toxic. This low maintenance material is resistant to fading, moisture, weather, stain, and graffiti.
