Available in a choice of bright colours, tactile Orbs stimulate the senses and even make a jingle!

Bright and tactile Orbs offer an accessible sensory experience for all ages and abilities. Bright contrasting colours, sound and textural definition make this unit stand out for partially sighted, and blind children. Children who use wheelchairs can access the large surface area from all sides, making it easier to rock. The movement, colour and texture create intrigue for hard of hearing or deaf children. Consider placement variations to add colourful, sensory exploration to your playground.

Description

All our products are designed around the Six Senses of Inclusive Play.

This product stimulates the following sensory receptors.

Sight

Develops a visual sense, helping children arrive at the appropriate motor responses

Touch

Helps differentiate pressure, texture and traction

Sound

Aids cognitive progression by developing the ability to process information

At Inclusive Play, we take extra considerations towards the quality of our products.

Steel

Steel products are hot dip galvanized and, where applicable, powder coated. The galvanizing process we use is continuous. This means the dipping and powder coating is completed within the same building. Because there is no transportation used in-between processes, the result is an extra durable finish that is impervious to rust.

Fixings

The fixings we use are Stainless Steel 304 grade or galvanized as standard. There may be a need to upgrade to Stainless Steel 316 for a small additional charge, depending on the installation location.

HDPE

The panels on this product are made from High Density Polyethene sheets. HDPE is 100% recyclable and non-toxic. This low maintenance material is resistant to fading, moisture, weather, stain, and graffiti.
